LS Warriors National Amputee Baseball Team Heads to Las Vegas

LOUISVILLE, KY, May 13, 2019– You will not want to miss this team while they are playing in Las Vegas over Memorial Day Weekend!  The LS Warriors National Amputee Baseball Team are all set

to compete in the MSBL 2019 Las Vegas Open.

As the only amputee baseball team in the country, the LS Warriors have entered the Men’s Senior Baseball League(MSBL) Las Vegas Open. The LS Warriors consist of highly athletic and skilled amputees from the U.S. Military, Wounded Warriors, Veterans and former and current college amputee baseball players that reside all over the United States. These players have either suffered a loss of limb, partial limb, digits, eye, and serious limb deformities plus have other prostheses due to congenital, disease or trauma-related reasons.

Coached by former Major League Baseball (MLB) players Curtis Pride and Kevin Mench, this team plays year-round all over the country in extremely competitive, national MSBL tournaments against only able-bodied competitive baseball teams.
